Weird Girls

Weird Girls is the creative identity of Karishma, a visual artist working in digital illustration and acrylic painting. Influenced by pop art, animation, and early internet aesthetics, their work uses vibrant colors and playful forms to express inner chaos, contrast, and the complexity of lived experience.

For much of Karishma’s life, self-expression came with hesitation. Shaped by fear of failure, societal pressure, and the quiet urge to stay small, she often held back. But over time, creating art alongside living became a way to gently unlearn those patterns. Weird Girls grew from that process, becoming a space to make sense of things, to speak in color and form when words fell short.

Weird Girls is part love letter and part quiet rebellion. A visual record of a place where weirdness is celebrated, vulnerability is a strength, and taking up space is the whole point.
